I write about what interests me 'in the moment', about the past, reminiscences; and sometimes things that my Mother told me or taught me, not my experiences, but hers or those of others.

I don't have a 'genre'. I currently split my time between the UK and Spain; however, in late 2026 or early 2027, I will be emigrating permanently to Spain, so that will be a steep learning curve - new country, new village, new people and lots of new experiences to tell you about. I mainly write long-form, though I am trying to shorten my pieces - some are serialised as I just have so much to say about certain subjects.

You will read many articles featuring DH - Darling Husband, and my kids, 3 of them - and sometimes my grandkids - 8 of them! They are all unnamed or renamed, but you will get to know their characters :)

Alyce also features in my stories, and I am sure you will get to love her as much as I do; she is a great friend, and I will miss her when we emigrate, though I am sure our phone calls will be just as fast and funny!
