Forgive the past, honor the journey, and embrace the person you are becoming.

Do not condemn yourself for what you couldn’t see,
For wisdom grows through what life teaches us to be.
You cannot judge yesterday through today’s clearer eyes,
Or blame your younger self for truths learned in disguise.
Some lessons arrive through heartbreak, others through pain,
Some require losing before discovering what remains.
Be gentle with the person who walked without a light,
For they did the best they could with what they knew was right.

Not every wrong turn means you’ve lost your way,
Not every broken dream was ever meant to stay.
The roads that led nowhere still taught you how to walk,
And silence sometimes teaches more than endless talk.
Release the heavy burden of what you should have known,
For understanding blossoms through the seeds that life has sown.
Your mistakes are not a verdict on the person you must be,
But chapters in a story still unfolding beautifully.

So honor every season, the sunshine and the rain,
The courage found in starting over, the wisdom born of pain.
Let yesterday be your teacher, never your prison or your shame,
And know that growing wiser doesn’t mean accepting blame.
You are allowed to change, to question, to begin anew,
To leave behind old versions that no longer speak for you.
Forgive yourself for not knowing what only time could show,
For life is not about having known, but learning as you grow.
