As a superfluous man, it is extremely important to look only at the next step. Looking past the next step doesn’t allow you to build the foundation that ultimately will determine your success. The winning formula for achieving your goal is to divide yourself into two separate entities, or employees if you will. You have the Executive or planner, and you have the Executioner or the person performing the tasks. The night before the day of the planned task, the Executive writes out at a maximum 3 task to be done the following day. The next day the Executioner performs the tasks without ever thinking as the Executive. Just simply perform the tasks as written. Repeat this until you reach your goal, then set your sights on another goal using the same formula. Success is not a sprint, it’s a marathon and each small task you successfully complete on time as planned, builds a strong foundation for your success. LM
