Season 1
S1.E1 — eps1.0_hellofriend.mov
Elliot Alderson: I’m good at reading people. My secret, I look for the worst in them.
S1.E2 — eps1.1_ones-and-zer0es.mpeg
Mr. Robot: The world is a dangerous place, Elliot, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.
S1.E3 — eps1.2_d3bug.mkv
Elliot Alderson: A bug is never just a mistake. It represents something bigger. An error of thinking. That makes you who you are.
S1.E4 — eps1.3_da3m0ns.mp4
Elliot Alderson: The devil’s at his strongest while we’re looking the other way, like a program running in the background silently, while we’re busy doing other s***.
S1.E5 — eps1.4_3xpl0its.wmv
Mobley: People are all just people, right? When it gets down to it, everyone’s the same. They love something. They want something. They fear something. Specifics help, but specifics don’t change the way that everyone is vulnerable. It just changes the way that we access those vulnerabilities.
S1.E6 — eps1.5_br4ve-trave1er.asf
Mr. Robot: True courage is about being honest with yourself. Especially when it’s difficult.
S1.E7 — eps1.6_v1ew-s0urce.flv
Elliot Alderson: When I was a kid I got into web design by ripping off sites I liked. All you had to do was view source on your browser and there it was. The code. You could copy paste it, modify it a little, put your name on it, and like that, it was your site. View source. What if we had that for people? Would people really wanna see?
S1.E8 — eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v
Whiterose: Every hacker has her fixation. You hack people, I hack time.
S1.E9 — eps1.8_m1rr0r1ng.qt
Terry Colby: In business, grudges aren’t really a thing. It’s too emotional.
S1.E10 — eps1.9_zer0-day.avi
Mr. Robot: Is any of it real? I mean, look at this. Look at it! A world built on fantasy! Synthetic emotions in the form of pills, psychological warfare in the form of advertising, mind-altering chemicals in the form of food, brainwashing seminars in the form of media, controlled isolated bubbles in the form of social networks. Real? You want to talk about reality? We haven’t lived in anything remotely close to it since the turn of the century. We turned it off, took out the batteries, snacked on a bag of GMOs while we tossed the remnants in the ever-expanding dumpster of the human condition. We live in branded houses trademarked by corporations built on bipolar numbers jumping up and down on digital displays, hypnotizing us into the biggest slumber mankind has ever seen. You have to dig pretty deep, kiddo, before you can find anything real. We live in a kingdom of bullshit, a kingdom you’ve lived in for far too long. So don’t tell me about not being real. I’m no less real than the fucking beef patty in your Big Mac.
Season 2
S2.E1 — eps2.0_unm4sk-pt1.tc
Elliot Alderson: How do I take off a mask when it stops being a mask, when it’s as much a part of me as I am?
S2.E2 — eps2.0_unm4sk-pt2.tc
Antara Nayar: A guy walks up to a woman at a bar. He flirts with her. He makes small talk, but the woman insists she isn’t gonna go home with him. Guy says, “What if I offer you a million dollars to sleep with me?” The woman’s never had a million dollars in her life. She stops and considers the offer very seriously. The guy changes his mind, says, “What if I change my offer to a dollar instead?” Woman is aghast. “What kind of woman do you think I am?” Guy says, “We already figured that out. Now we’re just negotiating.”
S2.E3 — eps2.1_k3rnel-pan1c.ksd
Elliot Alderson: Is that what God does? He helps? Tell me, why didn’t God help my innocent friend who died for no reason while the guilty roam free? Okay, fine. Forget the one-offs. How about the countless wars declared in his name? Okay, fine. Let’s skip the random, meaningless murder for a second, shall we? How about the racist, sexist, phobia soup we’ve all been drowning in because of Him? And I’m not just talking about Jesus. I’m talking about all organized religion, exclusive groups created to manage control, a dealer getting people hooked on the drug of hope, his followers nothing but addicts who want their hit of bullshit to keep their dopamine of ignorance, addicts afraid to believe the truth, that there is no order, there’s no power, that all religions are just metastasizing mind worms meant to divide us so it’s easier to rule us by the charlatans that want to run us. All we are to them are paying fanboys of their poorly written sci-fi franchise. If I don’t listen to my imaginary friend, why the fuck should I listen to yours? People think their worship’s some key to happiness. That’s just how he owns you. Even I’m not crazy enough to believe that distortion of reality. So fuck God. He’s not a good enough scapegoat for me.
S2.E4 — eps2.2_init_1.asec
Elliot Alderson: Annihilation is always the answer. We destroy parts of ourselves every day. We Photoshop our warts away. We edit the parts we hate about ourselves, modify the parts we think people hate. We curate our identity, carve it, distill it.
S2.E5 — eps2.3_logic-b0mb.hc
Elliot Alderson: Everyone has their own if/then conditional programming, a situation where if certain conditions are met, then a logic bomb detonates. Everything blows up in your face.
S2.E6 — eps2.4_m4ster-s1ave.aes
Elliot Alderson: Masters. We all have them. Every relationship’s a power struggle. Some of us need to be controlled. Once in a while, the best course of action is to just ride shotgun. Stare at the road ahead, and hope it leads somewhere you want to go.
S2.E7 — eps2.5_h4ndshake.sme
Elliot Alderson: Control can sometimes be an illusion. But sometimes you need illusion to gain control. Fantasy is an easy way to give meaning to the world, to cloak our harsh reality with escapist comfort. After all, isn’t that why we surround ourselves with so many screens? So we can avoid seeing? So we can avoid each other? So we can avoid truth?
S2.E8 — eps2.6_succ3ss0r.p12
Dominique DiPierro: Getting into the mind of a woman, it’s the toughest route for even the best sources.
S2.E9 — eps2.7_init_5.fve
Phillip Price: I’m a mercenary. I don’t play fair. I play what I want. When you deal with a mercenary, then all decorum gets tossed out the window, so you go ahead with your cute threats and your watch beeps. Order will not protect you anymore, my friend. I will rain chaos, even if it hurts me, ’cause I would rather see you lose than win myself.
S2.E10 — eps2.8_h1dden-pr0cess.axx
Phillip Price: Isn’t that what history is all about? Politically, economically, geographically, imaginary lines being drawn and redrawn, over and over again?
S2.E11 — eps2.9_pyth0n-pt1.p7z
Whiterose: I’ve always found doors fascinating inventions. They hold the entry to unlimited imagination. Before you open any door, a world filled with possibilities sits right behind it. And it isn’t until you open it they are realized. Such potential they bring to our minds.
S2.E12 — eps2.9_pyth0n-pt2.p7z
Elliot Alderson: It’s one thing to question your mind. It’s another to question your eyes and ears. But then again, isn’t it all the same, our senses just mediocre inputs for our brain? Sure, we rely on them, trust they accurately portray the real world around us, but what if the haunting truth is, they can’t? That what we perceive isn’t the real world at all but just our mind’s best guess? That all we really have is a garbled reality, a fuzzy picture we will never truly make out.
Season 3
S3.E1 — eps3.0_power-saver-mode.h
Elliot Alderson: They packaged a fight into product. Turned our dissent into intellectual property. Televising our revolution with commercial breaks. They backdoored into our minds and robbed our truth, refurbished the facts, then marked up the price. This is what they do. It’s what they’re good at. This is their greatest trick. Lobotomizing us into their virtual reality horror show.
S3.E2 — eps3.1_undo.gz
Whiterose: Don’t mistake my generosity for generosity.
S3.E3 — eps3.2_legacy.so
Whiterose: If you pull the right strings, a puppet will dance any way you desire.
S3.E4 — eps3.3_m3tadata.par2
Elliot Alderson: Getting information is one thing, but how it was created, where and by whom, can often be illuminating.
S3.E5 — eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00
Irving: Just ’cause we lit the fuse, doesn’t mean we control the explosion.
S3.E6 — eps3.5_kill-pr0cess.inc
Elliot Alderson: Instead of fighting, maybe it’s time we talk.
S3.E7 — eps3.6_fredrick+tanya.chk
Whiterose: Nothing creates profit quite like global conflict.
S3.E8 — eps3.7_dont-delete-me.ko
Elliot Alderson: That’s the thing about deletion. It’s not always permanent.
S3.E9 — eps3.8_stage3.torrent
Mr. Robot: Time to grow up. There are no gods. Our closest deities are a society of the richest, most influential men in existence. Men who f*** over the rest of us for profit, for fun, and then leave us in the streets for dead.
S3.E10 — shutdown -r
Irving: A story could have a mediocre beginning and middle, and oftentimes it does, but always gotta have a wow ending. Otherwise, what’s the point?
Season 4
S4.E1–401 Unauthorized
Mr. Robot: How ya doin’, Freddy? Not too good? That’s okay. I get it. Jerking off to underage girls on live video chats is one thing. When it’s played back, though, kinda loses its magic.
S4.E2–402 Payment Required
Mr. Robot: There’s the cost of living and the cost of dying. Seems you’re paying the price whether you’re coming or going.
S4.E3–403 Forbidden
Peng Chen: If someone asks for your patience, they are asking for your surrender.
S4.E4–404 Not Found
Mr. Robot: Seems like we’re always thinking of ourselves when looking for something that’s lost, but we never think much about the lost, whatever, whoever is unable to be found, whether it’s a set of keys left somewhere and forgotten, a couple of guys wandering aimlessly in the woods, or someone who’s disappeared inside himself. What if that’s what they wanted all along? Not to be found.
S4.E5–405 Method Not Allowed
Darlene: It’s cool, dude. We don’t have to talk.
S4.E6–406 Not Acceptable
Fernando Vera: We all have a purpose in this world, and it’s our lot in life to wait for the cosmos to reveal what that is.
S4.E7–407 Proxy Authentication Required
Mr. Robot: Behind every great fortune, there lies a great crime. That is the corporate motto of these United States. You wanna oink-oink with all the other capitalist pigs? It’s not about how much money. It’s about robbing money itself.
S4.E8–408 Request Timeout
Elliot Alderson: You’re the father I needed, not the father I had.
S4.E9–409 Conflict
Phillip Price: That’s why it works, right? The one thing every person has: regret. You weaponize that, and then you use that weapon against them to destroy them.
S4.E10–410 Gone
Darlene: They were so powerful, they wrote the laws to benefit themselves. They got away with everything because they banked on us, all of us, to trust the system. That was our vulnerability, and they took advantage of it.
S4.E11 — eXit
Elliot Alderson: We’re all told we don’t stand a chance, and yet we stand. We break, but we keep going, and that is not a flaw. That’s what makes us.
S4.E12 — whoami
Elliot Alderson: Everyone has a secret. People are always hiding something: their vulnerabilities, their fears, their shame. I don’t care how happy he looks. Everyone has a monster.
S4.E13 — Hello, Elliot
Elliot Alderson: What if changing the world was just about being here, by showing up no matter how many times we get told we don’t belong, by staying true even when we’re shamed into being false, by believing in ourselves even when we’re told we’re too different? And if we all held on to that, if we refuse to budge and fall in line, if we stood our ground for long enough, just maybe… The world can’t help but change around us.
