How he explains his days at work, mentioning every name of his bosses.

From the jerky ones who often piss him off to the point where he chooses to take long, far, and often difficult business trips just so that he can avoid meeting them in the office for a while. To the ones, he admires so much that eventually befriend him and even intending to join one of his camping trips.

How he talks about his friends, well he has quite a lot of them.

He loves getting to know people, just like I used to. He is not really an easy-going person but he knows how to make friends. Once he finds out a person has the same interest as him, he will just go on and on talking with them. People he works with, most of them are nice. Really friendly and low-profile, he never really introduces one to me but he talks about them so much that I feel like I know them in person.

How he talks about his family, yep this one is a family man.

The first child of two, with a much, much younger sibling so that he feels like he has a fatherly figure towards his little bro. A mom that means everything to him yet he cannot discuss his life with. A dad who the last time I checked, still does as he pleases. No further explanation. He told me every detail of every conversation with his mom and his little sidekick tho, and they seem fun.

How he talks about his ex, choosing another man over himself.

How he talks so straightforwardly about the fallout — and just how he decided to shut her out completely. How he is still in contact with her sister and her mom sometimes. How he was 100% into her, whatever it was that made him fall for her, what he learned from her — them. How he did not regret ending everything between them, not regret having what they had for years.

How he specifically mentions stuff that makes me so so afraid that I might hurt him. Because otherwise, it is impossible. I can see there is nothing in him that can hurt me. This situation is terrifying.
