TECNOVER receives the 2026 Premio Impresa e Lavoro
A diploma and a medal at La Scala, for our first 41 years
The medal reached Via Italia the day after the ceremony, and together with the diploma it now has pride of place next to the other recognitions the Lombardy Region has awarded us.
On Sunday 20 September Massimo was at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan for the eighth Premio Impresa e Lavoro, the business and work awards of the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce. He was there to collect a diploma and a medal on behalf of TECNOVER S.n.c. di Ricotti e Cera, for our first 41 years of distinguished activity.
This year 121 companies were honoured, 43 of them from Brianza like us, 48 from Milan and 30 from the Lodi area, along with 161 employees recognised for their long service with the same company. There is only one requirement for inclusion: at least twenty-five years of uninterrupted activity.
Where we were 41 years ago
In a workshop in Sesto San Giovanni, where Francesco Ricotti and Lorenza Cera built their first diaphragm airless paint sprayer. That was the start of Tecnover, which is now based in Muggiò and run by the second generation, with Massimo heading the technical side and me in charge of sales and marketing. If you’d like to read it in full, our story is on our website.
In between lie four decades of sprayers designed and built here, 100% made in Italy and exported to all five continents, either directly to end users or through our Official Dealers, sharing shelf space with the big American and German brands. There is the diaphragm airless technology we chose at the outset for a specific reason and have never changed: to supply high-performance professional equipment that customers can service or repair themselves, at an affordable price both when they buy it and when it needs servicing. And there is constant development, best illustrated today by our revolutionary Airless Revolver. It has a website of its own in five languages and, as customers tell us themselves, it has changed the way they work and above all how they feel at the end of the day: more accurate work with less effort, so that after eight hours of spraying their wrists and shoulders no longer ache.

To be honest, a diploma won’t sell a single extra sprayer.
Continuity, however, is hard to put into words and even harder to achieve, and that is exactly what the Chamber of Commerce rewards: it formally recognises a company’s ability to stay in business and its resilience, even through global economic crises.
We take real pride in seeing sprayers come into our workshop after twenty years on job sites and need nothing more than a routine service to be back in full working order. Customers who buy one of our machines know they are also buying the certainty that, ten years from now, they will find someone here to repair it.
Our two previous awards
This isn’t our first. In November 2025 the Lombardy Region named us a Historic Business (Attività Storica) at a ceremony in the Province of Monza and Brianza, and before that we had received the Qualità Artigiana mark for craftsmanship. The wall in our office is starting to fill up…
All three say much the same thing: genuine Made in Italy, with design and production under the same roof for decades, and a company that customers always find ready to meet their needs.
Customers who contact us on WhatsApp deal directly with the manufacturer, by message, photo or video call, sometimes even when the office is closed. There’s no one in between: it’s Massimo who will look at a photo of a pump head, sometimes that’s all it takes, and help you work out what has gone wrong and how to fix it.
That isn’t written on the diploma, but it is very clear to the people who use our professional equipment.
Our thanks go to the Milan Monza Brianza Lodi Chamber of Commerce and to everyone who has chosen our machines over the past 41 years.
PAINT YOUR WORLD!
