Stolen
Stolen, I say!
That is what happened. No one asked. A choice wasn’t given. No! It was just stolen. This theft rivals the betrayal of the Golden Fleece.
What could be an equal to such a great loss, you ask?
BLUE!
Blue, the kind that songs rhapsodize about, has been stolen.
The replacement color is a gray that lacks all luster, beauty, and poise. It hangs in the sky like a faded, old mourner’s dress. A gown used up and discarded like a toy in a movie. Nothing redeems this color. Gloom and sadness descend upon all that look upon it.
I need a great detective to find the thief. Then I need an officer and a judge to demand the return of what was stolen. How can we be expected to live in a world of drabness? Knowing what could be there. Remembering peace, joy, and Blue. Jubilation will only happen when this precious color is returned to its place of honor.
Until then, I will search for that which has been STOLEN!
