You Will Never Know
a poem?!
you will never know,
the way i adore you all day,
that you were living in my poems
while i was just another friend in your day
not gonna get somebody like you,
come, hold me, console me
a hug that can smash ribs
my head longs for the crook of your neck
you've got no ideas of what you left,
what you've awakened in me
my eyes can see your blurry face,
almost all the time, all the time
you can be the pain when you will leave me,
but at this time, you're the only cure
to all the scars i've over my body,
so who cares about what's on the way?
the white strands in your hair,
the rose-tinted lips,
almost touching mine
like that incomplete dream before dawn
take me, take me away
from all the oughts
from all the yokes and tethers
let me fall in your arms for once
this heart yearns for the freedom,
that i can only have with you
idea of being free with you
is more beautiful than loving you

let us be what the world forbids,
let us dare what others never did
let us sin against their sacred order,
let us be the graveyard of what they expect,
let us be the exception
to every rule that kept us apart
weary of the perfection they demand,
now wanna be unmasked in your presence,
so take my hand, let us flee tonight
and ride down roads where no soul breathes
your name rests on my lips all the time,
you’re the beginning, and you the mere ending
existing with your breathes
and dying with your giggles
i hope it rains the day you leave,
they say the rain means you’re meant to stay,
and i wish the scent of rain-soaked earth
would smell like our love incomplete
and how lucky you’re to be the muse,
and to be written by someone while you sleep
and how blessed i’m to be among few
you talk to, everyday
but, but, but…
it isn’t necessary that they love us too.
idk i’m losing my mind.
anyways, how are y’all?
thank you for reading. i’ll come back soon.
