10 Fitness Myths That Could Be Wasting Years of Your Life
From training to nutrition, let’s expose the advice that keeps women stuck
If you’ve spent any time in the fitness world, you’ve probably been told that you need drop sets, super sets, failure training, perfect meal timing, short workouts, endless protein, and daily creatine to build the body you want. But how much of what you’ve been told is actually necessary — and how much is just fitness noise?
In this article, I’m challenging some of the most repeated fitness rules and separating what actually matters from what simply wastes your time, energy, and money.
1/ Drop Sets or Super Sets?
Drop sets or super sets? Both are inefficient training methods and a waste of time. Do straight sets instead.
2/ “Coach, do I have to reach muscular failure at the end of every exercise?”
Wrong. The downsides outweigh the benefits. It’s enough to finish 2–3 reps short of failure.
3/ “What’s the most important meal: the meal before your workout or the meal after?”
Neither. What matters is what you eat and whether you’re getting the nutrients you need throughout the day. The total number of meals matters more than obsessing over meal timing.
