Hello everyone, I am Zobair Uddin, a digital artist and microstock contributor based in Bangladesh. Over the past few years, creating commercial digital art has become a dedicated part of my daily routine. Today, I want to share a quick look behind the scenes at how I build and manage my stock portfolios across major platforms like Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, and Dreamstime.
Finding My Niche in Microstock
When I first started uploading to microstock agencies, I experimented with different styles to see what designers and businesses actually need. Over time, I found my strongest focus in high-contrast vector line art, hand-drawn doodle icon bundles, shadow overlays, and commercial lifestyle imagery.
Currently, my approved portfolio has grown to over 650+ approve asset on Shutter stock, 2,300+ assets on Adobe Stock and more than 4,000+ approved files on Dreamstime.
My Daily Creation & Vector Workflow
Quality and technical precision are everything in microstock. A single stray anchor point or an open path can get a file rejected or make it difficult for a buyer to use.
My typical production pipeline involves:
Concept & Drafting: Developing clean, high-contrast visual concepts on solid white backgrounds so they remain versatile for commercial buyers.

Vectorizing & Refining in Adobe Illustrator: I bring my concepts into Adobe Illustrator to carefully trace, expand paths, and manually clean up anchor points using Pathfinder and brush tools.
Final Quality Check: Every vector file is organized neatly in layers and exported as clean EPS 10 and high-resolution JPEG files before submission. while my Photoshop textures are checked at 100% zoom for seamless detail and exported as high-resolution JPEGs and png before submission.
