Project Overview

Creqe is a comprehensive credit infrastructure specifically designed for the African market. By leveraging an individual or business’s transaction history, identity score, and a variety of other data points, Creqe generates a reliable and standardized creditworthiness score. This score enables users to assess their creditworthiness accurately, aiding them in making informed financial decisions.

In addition to offering credit scoring services, Creqe operates as a secure and user-friendly platform that facilitates transactions between borrowers and lenders. Through this platform, potential lenders have the opportunity to provide loans to other users on the platform. The lending process is characterised by its flexibility, as lenders can set interest rates and repayment plans that suit their preferences and risk appetite.

Problem Statement

The problem statement addressed by Creqe is the lack of reliable and standardised credit assessment mechanisms and efficient lending platforms in the African market.

Solution

Creqe aims to streamline sending and receiving funds, as well as lending and receiving loans.

User persona

A user persona is a fictional representation of a typical or ideal user of a product or service. It is a tool used in user-centered design processes to better understand and empathize with the target audience. A user persona is typically created based on research and data about real users and encompasses their demographics, behaviors, goals, needs, and pain points. This persona helps designers and developers make user-centric decisions and ensure that the product meets the needs and preferences of its intended users.

Lo-Fi

Sketches and wireframes play a crucial role in the UI/UX design process by facilitating early ideation, efficient communication, and user-centered design. Their simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and ability to uncover design issues early make them indispensable tools for creating successful user interfaces and experiences.

Splash Screens

In design, a splash screen is a graphical element that serves as the initial screen or loading screen that users see when they launch a mobile app, website, or software application. Splash screens are typically displayed for a short period while the application is loading or initialising.

It’s important to strike a balance when using splash screens. While they can enhance the user experience and contribute to branding, excessive or lengthy splash screens can frustrate users. Designers should aim for a seamless and efficient loading process that keeps users engaged and informed without causing unnecessary delays.

Conclusion

In a while, this has been one of the most exiting and knowledge impactful project for me. In summary, research is an essential component of UI/UX design that leads to user-centered, efficient, and successful design outcomes. It guides the design process, validates design choices, and ultimately results in digital products and services that better meet user needs and expectations.
