Have you observed that when a candle lights the place, it melts itself?

Similarly, sometimes peace also needs someone to bend and melt.

The harsh words uttered by us in anger need to be apologised for.

The pain we give others needs to be compensated, even if it doesn’t heal the wound instantly and completely.

We need to address rude behaviours and apologise for them. Sometimes when two people are arguing, the silence of one makes the other think that the other might be right.

The silence of one sometimes gives the other person’s brain time to think.

Tears sometimes make others think that they were wrong.

The bent tree survives more easily than the one that is rigid. Sometimes your kind words melt someone, sometimes your behaviour, sometimes your act of apologising. Life is not a race in which you have to run fast to prove yourself right.

You’re simply slowing down, and the other person also understands that life is not a race. How nice!

Life continues. But it is not important to run exactly as others are running. Patience is an important key to a successful life…
