Record Lows and Record Highs
At the same time, how can that be
Our High Temperatures this week are all in the high 90s, while in Washington state, Kentucky, Virginia, and elsewhere, temperatures are record-breaking on the low side.
It was 110 degrees Fahrenheit (43.33 Celsius) on Sunday, which was a record-breaking high for this time of year. The previous record was 103 degrees in 2018.
While it was -28 degrees in Davis, Washington, a record-breaking low.
My simple mind thinks that if it's colder than normal, it would be colder than normal throughout the US. Yet we have record-breaking extremes on both ends of the thermometer... at the same time.
It’s weird, strange, and beyond my logic.
I will be getting my steps in early this week, or maybe right before sunset.
Is the weather weird where you live?
