Thousands of pounds. We leave a country with the intention of setting up in our new country / home, and getting our furniture sent.
It never happens. Well once, we shipped our American furniture to South Africa. When the container arrived and we looked at that shit, I could not believe I’d been a party to buying it in the first place.

Storage facilities are scams built to prey on good intentions. "When I get a bigger place...."Save your money and buy new stuff in case you actually have room for it (I won't say "need" it, since you don't use it now), but first throw out the stuff…
