CometAPI is an AI infrastructure platform designed for businesses that need reliable, controllable, and scalable access to multiple AI models.
We help companies adopt and operate AI in production environments by providing a unified API layer, consistent interfaces, and predictable system behavior — without the operational burden of managing multiple AI vendors.
What We Offer
CometAPI enables enterprises to:
- Access multiple leading AI models through one unified API
- Access all major AI models with a single API key — no separate accounts or credentials per provider
- Reduce integration complexity and long-term maintenance risk
Our platform is built to support real business workloads, not experimental use cases.
Built for Production Environments
Enterprise AI adoption requires more than model performance. It requires trust, stability, and control.
CometAPI is designed with:
- 99.9% Availability SLA to ensure consistent, high-availability services for mission-critical applications
- Predictable API behavior to minimize production surprises
- Vendor flexibility to avoid dependency on a single model provider
- Clear documentation and change transparency for long-term system planning
We prioritize operational reliability over short-term features.
Security and Responsibility
We understand that enterprises take data handling and security seriously.
- We follow a security-first approach in API design and access control
- Strict Data Retention Policy: By default, we do not store the content of your prompts or completions. We minimize data exposure risk by ensuring that transit data is never persisted longer than necessary for immediate processing.
- We continuously improve our infrastructure to meet evolving security expectations
Our goal is to provide AI access in a way that aligns with enterprise governance standards.
Data Sharing and Model Providers
We want to be direct about a question many enterprise customers ask: when you call AI models through CometAPI, does your prompt data get shared with or retained by the underlying model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.)?
Here is our clear answer:
- CometAPI itself does not store, log, or retain your prompt content or model outputs. Your data is never written to our databases or persistent storage.
- Your API calls are routed to the respective model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) in real time. This means the underlying provider processes your request in order to generate a response — this is technically unavoidable, as the model must receive the prompt to produce an output.
- Each model provider has its own data policies. For example, OpenAI and Anthropic offer API-tier usage with no-training-on-data commitments for API customers (subject to their enterprise agreements). We recommend reviewing the data processing terms of each provider you use through our platform.
- We do not send your data to any model provider beyond what is required to fulfill your specific API request. There is no aggregation, analytics sharing, or secondary use of your prompt content on our end.
In short: your prompts pass through to the model provider to get a response, but CometAPI does not retain them, and we do not use them for any other purpose.
System Status
You can monitor real-time model availability and service health at our public status page:

This page tracks uptime and incident history for all supported models.
Who We Work With
CometAPI is trusted by:
- Product teams integrating AI into customer-facing systems
- Startups preparing for scale and enterprise customers
- Businesses seeking cost visibility and operational control over AI usage
If AI is a core part of your product or service, CometAPI is built to support you long-term.
Our Approach
We believe enterprise AI infrastructure should be:
- Stable, not experimental
- Transparent, not opaque
- Flexible, not locked to a single vendor
CometAPI exists to make AI adoption practical, sustainable, and manageable for businesses.
What's Coming Next
We are continuously investing in the security, compliance, and reliability of the platform. Here's what's on our roadmap:
- SOC 2 Type II Certification — We are actively working toward SOC 2 Type II compliance. This certification will provide formal third-party validation of our security controls and data handling practices.
- Expanded model support — Adding more frontier and open-source model providers as they reach production readiness.
- Advanced usage analytics — Richer dashboards for cost attribution, model comparison, and usage trend analysis.
- Enterprise SLA tiers — Dedicated support tiers and SLA options for organizations with mission-critical requirements.
We will keep this page and our changelog updated as these milestones are reached.
