About: (More images & videos at bottom of page) Arduous Journey is a real Modpack for the Bedrock version of Minecraft that works on ALL platforms and includes custom content, not just mashing addons together.
Playing this pack will bring you into a challenging dark fantasy world with new things such as bosses, mobs, dungeons, armors, tools and much more then you can imagine.
The custom mods include various stuff made by me such as bosses, performence tweaks, custom fixes to make addons work together and etc. Read the installation instructions below please.
Step 1: Download the latest Arduous Journey Mcaddon file in the Files tab! Then double click the downloaded mcaddon file itself, doing so will make it auto install all the addons into your game.
It will take a minute for all the addons to install, please wait until the game is done.
Step 3: Click to create a world and go to the "Experimental" world settings, then toggle on “Upcoming Creator Features” and "Beta APIs". Some addons will fail to work unless these are on!
Step 4: The Resource Packs must be organized exactly like this image below for the first 10 Resource Pack addons. The rest of the addons do not matter in the way they are organized.
Render Distance 12 or lower Higher may cause lag or crashes due to a Mojang bug unrelated to my pack: Mojang Bug Report Link
Vibrant Visuals - Does not matter On specific Consoles you may sometimes get a visual error where everything glows pink for a moment randomly.
Final Step: Once in the world, after a few seconds un-needed guidebooks and items will be removed from your inventory for you. You will be left with a custom guidebook that has various stuff such as a list of all the bosses in the Modpack!

Below are addons that work with this pack but not highly suggested because I dont think they fit with the world lore
AdventureCraft by Octovon - From Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace (Expands the world with fantasy elements such as magic, bosses, npcs, wyverns, new species with their own villages and more) Ensure that before you reincarnate, your first two slots in your inventory are empty. Do not let this guidebook be in the main 2 slots otherwise upon reincarnating, the addonpack guidebook will spawn in the wrong slot and not be unlockable without cheats otherwise.

FAQ & How to fix stuff
The chat spams red text about outdated addon Major Bedrock updates tend to break the addon known as "Billey Mobs". This warning is to tell you that your pets are in danger of despawning and to update your addon, you can find the latest version of the addon in that creator Discord if their Curseforge page has not uploaded the latest version yet.
Trailer does not match pack partly
In the Final week of pack release, Minecraft released a update taking Jigsaws out of experimental with some unclear changes causing certain addons that worked completely fine for months beforehand to no longer work with the pack (Alylica Dungeon and The Forgotten Legends)
Due to this you may see 2-3 things from the Trailers/videos that are no longer present. However the images on the page are up to date!
Is this stable/safe?
Yes, to achieve this stability, this addon has focused content over visuals as a motto aka no animation packs. (You can put your own if you so wish)
Furthermore to ensure balance I have modified and tweak specific addons that had balance issues or tiny bugs occurring from some addons overlapping.
LAG! or A structure is spam spawning mobs!
Lag can very very rarely cause this issue, DO NOT PANIC and DO NOT /kill @e unless you can accept the consequences.
Pause the game, go to world settings, turn off command blocks, go into creative, see the name of the mob and kill that specific mob with a command, like /kill @e[type=dk:mercenary] or manually kill them if you prefer that.
Lastly look for the purple or Cyan command block spam spawning mobs, then break it. Toggle back on commands, go back to survival mode and issue fixed!
Now why were you lagging before? Consider if someone has 200+ pets, if there is too many players (15+), if you installed other addons with content causing lag or animations or effects intensing the load on the game, if your render distance is too high like 10+ or other things. I made the addon as performence friendly as possible but there are limits.
Ensure Simulation Distance is also low if playing with other people.

Why not just put all addons into 1 pack? The dev of Better On Bedrock addon have not given me permission to include their addon alongside the pack, I must respect their wishes. I also do not wish to mesh all the addons together either, people should be able to customize the pack if they wish and know what they are adding in my opinion.
-Work on Realms/Server?
It works on Worlds, Realms and Servers! However please note Bedrock isn't designed to handle multiple players & addons long term on a Realm/Server. A Realm or Server with this pack & 5+ players will slowly get laggier and laggier due to how Bedrock is made, you can't do a heavy modded server the same way like you can on Java while expecting to play with TONS of players. You will be fine by yourself or some friends though.
-How can Console join a Server?
BedrockTogether App! Ensure both console & phone are on the same wifi and follow the in-app instructions.
-I can’t find X structure/the bounty scroll trader for the quest.
Just bad luck. Keep looking. No seriously... a skill issue.
-Pack is broken, missing textures, etc.
Go to my discord and report these issues please so that they can be fixed! Dont report them to the original addon creators as the issue is most likely a pack issue, not a issue with their addon.

PAID Fairy Tales Add-On Two mobs overspawn to the point it was worth removing it even though you lose 20 other mobs. Did a community vote and most people said it was worth the loss due to the mob spam.
