Also, as you might expect, the beta version will not include all the content planned for the full version.

Reverie is a Forge mod developed for Minecraft 1.20.1 that aims to add large-scale themed adventure updates. Each theme aims to introduce unique biomes, creatures, structures, items, equipment, and mechanics while striving to create a sense that they are an integral part of Minecraft. Once a theme is complete, the mod will move on to the next large-scale themed update. Each theme is designed to feel like a full-fledged content expansion rather than a small collection of standalone additions. The goal is for each major theme to have its own distinct atmosphere, visual identity, gameplay mechanics, creatures, and environments. The mod is currently launching with its first major theme: a fantasy Wild West expansion!!

YEEEEHAW! THE CURRENT THEME IS FANTASY WILD WEST
The fantastic Wild West expansion aims to expand the overworld with new content inspired by iconic Wild West elements, movies, and pop culture, along with frontier themed gameplay.
You can expect to encounter bizarre desert environments, wild life, towns, folks, outlaws, cowboy gear, firearms, structures, numerous fierce enemies, and other content designed to take your adventure to the next level.

This update is still being developed, so features, balance, visuals, structures, and mechanics may change over time.

(Wild West)
- New biome(s)
- New mobs
- Outlaws and outlaw-related content
- Folk and town-related content
- Firearms and western weapons
- Ponchos, hats, and wearable equipment
- New blocks and decorations
- Structures and exploration content
Development Status
Reverie is still in active development.
The first release will focus on the fantasy Wild West theme, with more content polish, balancing, bug fixes, and systems planned as development continues...

Q: I don’t like guns in Minecraft. What can I do?
A: Firearms can be disabled with a config option:
enableFirearms=false
This disables natural gun spawns and replaces guns in mob hands with bananas. This may not affect already generated worlds/chunks.
Q: Is Reverie multiplayer compatible?
A: Yes. Reverie is designed with multiplayer in mind, but balance and testing are still ongoing.
Q: Will Reverie update to future versions or NeoForge?
A: Yes. The first release is planned for Forge 1.20.1.
Q: Will there be Fabric support?
A: No.
Q: Can I suggest ideas or help with assets?
A: Suggestions and help are welcome through the Discord server, especially if you have examples of your work.
