Yapper is a total replacement for Blizzard's chat editbox, which aims to bring modern features and improved appearance customisation to your textbox. You can change font sizes, outlines, text and background colours individually, set overrides to text colours and more. It is particularly geared towards people who are differently-sighted, but offers a suite of QoL improvements across the board.

Features

• Snappy English spellchecking with autocompletion suggestions, capable of adapting to your typing habits over time and expanding its vocabulary on its own to improve suggestions. More languages planned in the future.
• - Supports regional English variants (enGB by default)
• - Customise whether to underline or highlight misspelled words
• - Use keyboard or mouse navigation to select suggestions, and easily add or ignore words.
• - Yapper's adaptive spellchecking watches you when you edit your words, and will learn corrections even if you manually correct the word after it's flagged.
• Quality of life features:
• - An emote picker you can open with TAB when you type "/".
• - An icon gallery when you type "{" which lets you quickly pick raid icons to insert in chat.
• - Hitting TAB when in public chat channels like Say, Yell, etc. cycles those, while doing the same when whispering someone will cycle whisper targets.
• - Backup solution to open Blizzard's standard chat box with Shift-Enter when you need to do forbidden actions like "/target".
• - Yapper is taint-safe and falls gracefully back to Blizzard's UI if you're in a situation where it would be blocked from chatting. You'll never be mute in dungeons again :)
• Multiline editor that you can open at any point while you are typing with Shift-Enter, which opens a larger editor where you can add linebreaks and fine-tune your posting. Also makes it much easier to edit longer posts!
• Draft system which ensures that if your typing is interrupted by an unexpected reload or disconnect, you can go right back into typing.
• Unlimited post length with robust queueing system, ensuring that every post of your novel arrives in correct order.
• - You can even customise how you indicate split posts (aka the delineator).
• Persistent chat history stores your posts when you send them, so you can recover them when you need them.
• Undo/Redo features (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y)
• Comprehensive appearance customisation which lets you configure the colour profile of Yapper however you want.
• - This is particularly useful if you need a different colour profile to see your text better.
• - Up to 64pt font sizes.
• - Font outline customisation.
• - Opacity customisation.
• - You can even configure and use a global profile.
• Thorough API exposure ensures that other addons can easily integrate with Yapper and/or take advantage of its features.
