Auto-CPUFreq 3.1 Adds Monitoring Mode To GUI, New Configuration Options & Fixes

Auto-CPUFreq is one of the open-source projects striving to be a CPU speed and power optimizer for Linux systems to improve battery life without making any real compromises to the user experience. Out today is v3.1 as the newest feature release of Auto-CPUFreq.

Auto-CPUFreq 3.1 adds a monitoring mode to the program's GUI. This GUI monitoring mode is quite basic and provides a similar layout to monitoring with Auto-CPUFreq from its alternative command-line interface:

Auto-CPUFreq 3.1 also adds Bluetooth controls to the GUI, similar to what was already available with the CLI for those wanting to disable their Bluetooth radio for power conservation.

This new release also expands the conservation mode checking to more Lenovo system models, a new "enforce platform profile" configuration option, support for systems lacking the /sys/class/power_supply/ sysfs interface, and a variety of other bug fixes.
