Servo 0.4 Browser Engine Gets More Websites Rendering Correctly

Servo 0.4 was just released for closing out the month of July. This month the Servo browser engine with its servoshell demo browser began rendering more real-world websites correctly.

Servo 0.4 brings 558 commits that accumulated over the past month as an all-time record for the project. There have been security fixes, new CSS features, additional media queries implemented, and many new DOM APIs are now working.

Servo 0.4 enhances its real-world website compatibility as another major milestone for end-users. Servo 0.4 has significantly improved its rendering of the popular llchess.org website as well as better Speedtest.net experience, Zulip, and more. Some other noted websites now working on this Rust-based browser engine include Google Photos, Cash Converters, and rendering but with interactivity issues still are Google Maps and OpenStreetMap.
