This build never made it to a public release, yet was sorta posted as an early test build for Patrons in the discord channel.

There is no note-able changes as its a Port from 1.12 so basically everything has been redesigned from the ground up.

The Goals and Plans for Dust going forwards are made more transparent in the discord, with the Patron Supporters having the most exclusive access to the ideas and inspirations I have for the mod.

What I will try to make public, is that Dust will be an accumulation of all my mod ideas into a complete package.

Some mods that you may see similarities from are:

  • Focused Books (1.16 and 1.17)
  • Ensorcelled (1.16)
  • Crystal Blocks (1.17)
  • Realistic Processing (1.12)
  • Dust (1.12 - 1.15)
  • MBIM (1.7.10 - 1.12)
  • Alchemic Exchange (1.8)
  • Other Unnamed 'Idea Projects' I have made plans for, but never coded anything for yet.

The overall Idea of the mod, is Learning from Experiences, Observations, and Exploration

The overall scope size is a bit monstrous, something with a research system more in depth then Thaumcraft, but more functional apparatus then Blood Magic, Aurora Cascade, Botania Combined, and potentially more effects and spells then Ars Magica (mana and artifice), Witchery, and Bobs Wizardry combined. I think each of the magic mods listed are very cool, but instead of making an addon to tie all these together in every version, the dream is to create something that can capture the best of everything into a very player rewarding research/exploration system.
