Resourceful

Resourceful is a mod that aims to just be "Vanilla+". The goal is to make various vanilla items and blocks obtainable in new, logical ways, and to add uses for those that are under-utilized, such as Flint, Lapis, Amethyst, and Copper.

Armor and Tools

Currently, this mod adds tools and armor for Emerald, Amethyst, Redstone, Quartz, Obsidian, and Blaze Rods. Each one has its own unique set bonus for its armor, enchantability and mining speed relevant to their material, and durability that lines up with the Vanilla durability system in its existing armor and tools.

Resources

In addition to using the vanilla resources, it also allows you to craft these resources upwards, into Clusters. Clusters are mainly not utilized within the mod, but exist for pack makers to use them to make items more costly (view Progressionistic Modpack for examples!)

Block Additions

The only block addition is the Flint Block. Mainly exists for skyblock packs and the likes to compress Flint to save space. More to come here.

Item Additions

A Smithing Template base, and Emerald Template are added to allow smithing Emerald Armor from Iron Armor.

Recipes

There are various new recipes added, and it is recommended to use JEI to view all of them. Saddles, Name tags, Sticky Pistons, Slimeballs, and more receive alternative recipes to allow them to be more obtainable.

Shears

Some vanilla materials receive shears from this mod. Wooden, Flint, Stone, and Amethyst!

Set Bonuses

Set Bonuses are effects given to the player when equipping a full set of armor.

Emerald Armor gives you Luck. Amethyst gives you Luck and Haste.

Quartz gives you Fire Resistance. Redstone gives you Strength.

Blazing gives you Fire Resistance, and Slow Falling.

Obsidian gives you Resistance and Fire Resistance.
