I’ll even throw an example of my own in!
I. I have this idea for an app…. 💭
That’s where we all start. But how do you follow that up?
The answer probably depends on your personal skillset. The less skilled you feel in not just doing, but understanding something, the more likely you are to delegate to AI. If you are at a memorisation “Remember” level with Python, you won’t hesitate asking AI to “fix all the bugs” without looking at the code yourself. I, personally, fully delegate all frontend to AI. You have it in writing here — all frontend you see on any of my apps is 100% AI generated, because my level is somewhere between “Understand” and “Apply”; and I often need results up to “Evaluate” levels of quality instead.
TL;DR — you and I sometimes use AI because we’re punching above our paygrade with our app ideas. Other times, it’s doable, but AI…
