By Sunday morning, footage reportedly showing flames at one of Russia’s largest oil refineries was circulating online. Authorities in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast acknowledged significant damage to an industrial facility in Kstovo, where Ukrainian sources said the Lukoil refinery had been struck.

A day earlier, buses carrying civilians out of Russian-occupied Oleshky crossed into Ukraine from Belarus. Families reunited after a rare ceasefire opened an evacuation route from a town where food and medicine had become increasingly difficult to find.
