Ember Ember Month
4 more months in the year of financial breakthrough!
Around this time, as kids, when you turned on ITV, their famous “na ember ember month” advert warning us to be careful while driving in the last 4 months of the year would be up on your screen and would become a regular till the new year (P.S. I did try to find the video on YouTube). It was the welcome message for the remaining 4 months of the year. Them month that ends with ember. And as I prepared copies for a product, I almost put it in.
Hello September, and happy ember season to you all, my readers.
I thought I would write more this year than last, but we can only say what is, and hope that grace, strength, and resources are all available to do, be, and accomplish. So, my dearest reader, manage the timing of my drafts, and please forgive my inconsistency in sharing my deepest thoughts.
August:

I think it was August 2016; that year (2016) had been terrible from Jan til July, and I was almost giving up, and I kept praying for a sign. I also remember just at that time I had a revelation about the number 8 (meaning new beginning) and August being the 8th month; I prayed for a new beginning and read the book “You can have a new beginning” by Morris Cerullo (I think I should go read it again, such a beautiful book). I must say that things did begin again for me that year, and it wasn’t anything compared to the first half of the year. So anytime I’m having a rollercoaster of a year, I remember my August covenant with God, and once it’s August, I tell myself it’s time for a new beginning. That was my August again this year, and I think I have a book to read even though we are in September now.
Life Moments:
My Snapchat throwbacks are my fav things about the app. It’s a constant reminder of my progress, failures, and life moments. I intend to keep it so. Also, recently, in my free time, I would sit back and revisit moments from life, and I must say I miss laughing on the road with my sister Kevwe. Everyone needs a Kevwe who makes you laugh carelessly on the road. I highly recommend.
Short notes:
Over the last few weeks, I had some short written notes, and maybe you could relate, but they do describe a state of feelings and a moment that won’t be forgotten:
Blood-sucking life systems
I’m losing blood
And I can’t find the blood of JesusI’m losing this fight.
What becomes of my faith
When I fail
Oh wretched man
I think I’m done with my writing and words
I’m just angry these days
But anger rests in the bosom of a fool
and I know I’m no fool
Hello Ember
Dearest family, friends, community members, neighbors, church members, colleagues, and foes, happy Ember Month to you! You do know that it does get better, and if it doesn’t, realize that you have it better than someone else. And that’s the truth. And when it’s too weary for you, I hope you have a shoulder to lean on and ears to rant to. But not me, though; this ember season I’m on “DND”, and if the Army, the force, firefighter, agbero, your mother and daddy, and Peter Obi cannot help you this season, please call on Daddy Jesus ( The man never fails, never on DND either)
Next time we will talk about David, my class with Abba, how I never seem to get bothered by people’s lives on IG, and I’m still humane, and anything can just be.
Till then
Love
Boyo (I think we should retire Mera till Jan 2027)
