This drabble is a fiction story of 100 words, no more, no less. This one is inspired by RWDrabble 2.0.035 | Snare. The twist is that the story needs to be set in the sewers.

Because this story is so short, please hang around for a bit (30 seconds), highlight, and comment to let me know you read it.

Maria was walking on her tippy toes, lifting the hem of her dress so it would not touch the murky waters.

She still did not understand why it had to take place in the sewers. These eccentric new millionaires honestly did not know what to invent next.

“It will be truly revolutionary!” the agent had told her.

So she obliged and installed her drum kit underground. The move had not been easy. She had caught her snare drum in the access hole, dragging it down. Fortunately, there was no damage.

What next, though? A concert in Le Esperanza Prison toilets!

Thank you for stopping by and reading my story.
