Hello friends, hope you are ready for number five on the Hell on Wheels series!
I try to put this before every write-up in case you're just tuning in. Just a few terms in case you don’t know biker slang and haven't read any of the other Hell on Wheels stories.
1) A cut-the-leather vest that they wear displays their decal and the state in which they are located.
2) A hang around is someone who hangs around some of the bikers
3) A hang around then becomes a prospect once another club member vouches for him. Once the prospect is voted on, they become a member.
4) Church is a term that they use to call their club meeting.
5) The term 1% supposedly came from people or police. They would say there's nothing to worry about the motorcycle club because they're all pretty much cool except about one percent. So say you murder someone for the club... You then earn your 1% patch or tattoo that is displayed inside a diamond. If these 1 percenters belong to certain clubs, then it's considered a 1 percenters club
