This is for a love that cannot be held or named. When two souls search for the same divine light, their paths run parallel but never touch. It is a confession of choosing absolute reverence over earthly possession — leaving the one you love entirely to the Divine, while keeping their reflection safely enshrined within the quietest chapel of the heart.
The Poem
I stand before you.
I refuse to be a helpless soul
trapped in your gaze.
Yet, within the tangled threads of this unspoken
bond,
my spirit grows restless.
I long for this heavy silence to break,
I yearn for it to end,
swiftly.
Within this quiet temple of my heart,
I cannot allow myself to settle
into the hollow warmth of an impure love.
God you long to discover—
I am searching for Him too.
The divine light you pursue,
let it shine upon my path as well.
