Anthropic IPO: Financial Overview for $2T Valuation

I spent the past few days digging through the financial numbers coming out of Anthropic ahead of its expected November 2026 IPO. If you use claude everyday for coding or writing like i do, it is easy to assume the company prints money and will own future.

When CEO Dario Amodei and CGO Krishna Rao shared their third quarter figures with investors in San Francisco recently, the top line numbers looked almost unreal. The company brought in $16.8 billion in revenue in Q3 2026 alone. By late July, its annualized revenue run rate already crossed $65 billion.

To put that in perspective, Anthropic booked $4.6 billion across all of 2025. look a the two numbers again just so you understand that clearly again.

In less than a year, it has grown to the point where its annual run rate beats nearly every public software company in the world exept Microsoft. It currently outpaces Salesforce, Adobe, and ServiceNow. It even pulled ahead of OpenAI in recent enterprise spending metrics.
