10 Random Thoughts October 18–25, 2026
#1: Hundreds of home-grown cherry tomatoes became sauce. Such a satisfying procedure!
#2: It’s two calendar months until Christmas. I’m planning to make some gifts this year, so I'd best get onto it.
#3: Started several stories last week but didn’t finish any. Sigh.
#4: I love how Seamus announces his arrival by sitting at the front door and meowing. But will he visit in Winter?
#5: Last week was the 31st anniversary of my arrival in Canada.
#6: Frosty mornings are pretty but nippy.
#7: Riverside sunset walks during Autumn are my favourite.
#8: The list of stars wearing Matières Fécales keeps growing. Yay to Helen Mirren!
#9: Blood donation and flu shot booked. Remembered the donation must be done before the shot.
#10: Sunsets from my balcony will never grow old.
