OSD (On‐screen Display)
By default, Thingino uses the device's hostname in the user text field. You can change the user text to satisfy your
own requirements by editing the /etc/prudynt.cfg file and changing the line user_text_format = "%hostname"; to
user_text_format = "Front Door"; for example.
Use ssh to get to the command line and vi /etc/prudynt.cfg to edit the file.
Make sure you remove the % sign as that is used for variable substitution.
Restart the streamer to reload your modified config file, and make sure to enable User text in the web UI under Settings > Streamer/ODS > Main OSD.

Thingino comes with a handful of bundled fonts for use with the OSD. You can change the font on the OSD page in the Settings menu in the Web UI. You can upload your own TrueType font if you are not satisfied with the bundled selection.
