Corydoras are small, humble catfish from South America. While lots of catfish can grow several feet long, "cories" only get about 2-3 inches! All species of corydoras are docile, but active, and very fun for both expert zookeepers and novice aquarists to take care of.

Corydoras are uncommon spawns in wet rainforest biomes. They always spawn in schools of 4-5 fish.

As ambient, timid animals, they can be picked up without issue. They can also be picked up in a bucket.

Corydoras cannot be tamed, but are still perfect for your exhibits anyways! As medium speed animals, it may take you a couple of tries.

Corydoras have 1 hearts (2 points) of health, can deal 0 hearts of damage, and drop raw corydoras upon death.

As ambient animals, they do not need specialized care.

Corydoras can be bred with beetroot seeds.

Corydoras is a food item obtained from Corydoras when killed, and is part of several diets to feed tamed animals.

Eating one raw corydoras restores 2 hunger.

There are five species of corydoras represented in ZAWA Evolved: green corydoras, panda corydoras, gold corydoras, julii corydoras, and skunk corydoras.
