Salt Lick

Salt licks are an enrichment block.

Many species of animal seek out mineral licks, and salt licks are a way for keepers to simulate this. The smell of salt, clay, and other nutrient-rich mineral deposits can keep animals entertained and give them necessary nutrients.

Salt licks, once placed, are a destructible block similar to vanilla cake, with 10 total uses. By interacting with a salt lick, animals receive 4 enrichment points, as well as restore 1 heart (2 points) of health. As such, they are a practical way to heal animals injured by capture or accidents.

Two salt licks can be crafted with 2x White Concrete and 1x Stick.
