The player reach the next Techlevel, when he build all required buildings for Tech 1

You build them in the same manner as described in player start.

When you build all required buildings, then you get 5 achievements and get techlevel 1. Look into chat or use

/owner info {page}

to see your achievements and techlevel.

There are some obstacle to fullfil this task to create the buildings

1. You need money
2. you need goldnuggets

I think the normal building resources, like cobblestone, log, wood, doors et., should not be a problem.

When something not available when you try to create a building, the plugin show some hint in the chat.

How you get money ?

This is a good question. I dont know how many money you get at start on the server. And i dont know how you can make money on the server. But this is not important. The only requirement to get money with realms is , that the admin setup some (1-3) NPC settlement.

You, the player , can trade with this settlement to get some money. At first you must know which settlements are available. Use the command :

/settle list {page} , show you the list of settlements.

Now must only find out where the settlements are located.

For trading with the settlements the prices of the different resource , materials and items are importend. The prices of each tradedable block or item is stored in the pricelist. You can get this pricelist with :

/realms pricelist, you get a writtebook with each block and the baseprice in one line. There are many pages, but read it. The blocks are sorted by name. The list show the symbolic names of the blocks.

Generally there are different pricegroups:

• raw material
• material
• build material
• tools
• ore
• food
• weapon
• armour
• valuables

The raw material have the lowest price , the valuables have the highest price as a simplified rule.

The settlements sell the most blocks and items. But they dont buy all items. They have a own individual list of preferred items and blocks and this list is dynamically change by their needs.

The most wanted items or blocks can be seen in the general info of the settlement.

• on sign [INFO] in the HALL of a settlement. On the bottem is a list of required items. For this items they pay the best price and give you double reputation.

• use command : /settle INFO [ID] {page} , you see the infolist without press the sign. Such as you are not in the HALL building.

How i trade with the settlement ?

In the HALL are many sign to get information about the settlement. Three of them open a shop to you.

1. Sign [SELL], meaning the settlement sell items to YOU
2. Sign [BUY], mening the settlement buy items from YOU
3. Sign [SELL] Material, is a special shop with material items and no raw resources

_Hint: _ When there are no signs in the you cannot trade with the settlement.

on the sign and shop is open. In case of :

• SELL, the items for sell to you are found in the inventory. on the item sell from the settlement. There is a protocol shown in the chat. Hint: Dont try to drag item from or into the inventory.

• BUY, the shop is empty and you of a item to sell to the settlement. There is a protocol shown in the chat. Hint: Only items and blocks that have a price greater 0.0 in the pricelist can be sell to the settlement. The pricelist can only be extended by the admin.

The settlement trader follow the basic rules of economy

• buy cheap
• sell high

Tips for trading:

• Food are always welcome in the settlement.
• valuables are always welcome
• look at the required item list

How a get gold_nuggets ?

The answer is very simple. The settlements dont sell valuables and most settlemnts have no gold_nuggets, when they are managed by a npc.

So do it in the old well known minecraft way:

• start to pick a hole deep enough to find gold_ore, smelt it, split the gold_ingot and there are the gold_nuggets. Simple ay ? 👍
• the second way is a quite similar. Find on of the great cliffs in the ground and dig until you find some gold_ore.
• or you beggar to the admin to give you a starter kit with some gold_nuggets. But i think in the most cases this will not be successfull 👎
