Settlement management
This lesson describe the management of a settlement from the view of a admin. So when you will use all described command you must be a OP.
The settlement managment based on info signs and settlement commands.
The signs normally located in the in the HALL building. A sign has a command word in the first line. The word is wrapped by <[> <]> brackets.
RightClick on the sign and the information are shown in the chat.
[INFO] , show the global info of the settlement.
[BUILDINGS] , show a list of buildingtypes and with counter
[WAREHOUSE] , show the list of items in the warehouse. Parallel give it a written book to you with the actual stocklist.
[PRODUCTION] , show the list of produced items. Per day, per month and actual stock.
[MARKET] , show the list of the offered items in the global market.
[TRADER] , show the buy , sell and transport order of the settlement.
[SELL] , open a shop with the items resource items the settlement want to sell.
[SELL] Material , open a shop with material items the settlement want to sell.
[BUY] , open a empty shop. The player can sell his items to the settlement. The is the main source of earning money for the player.
[DONATE] , open a chest. Each item the player place into the chest are given to settlement. You earn no money but you get reputation points.
[REPUTATION] , show a the reputation to the settlement and list of details in what group you get the reputation.
When the settlement ist build by a colonist, the owner is a NPC. To get access right to the protected area you can do:
- set you as the owner of the settlement with /settle owner
- set you as a member of the building or settlement with a StrongHold command.
When you are the owner of the settlement, you have access to any building except the HOMEs. The homes are owned by a NPC or a player. For get build permission in a building, stay inside the buiding cube and use the command
/hs addmember
After that you are a member of the region and can break and set blocks.
When you are not the owner of a settlement you can use the above method to get build permissions in the region cube. notice: You are not a member or owner in realms !
The available commands you can see on:
You can set a [ACQUIRE] sign on the outerside of a home. so the player can buy a home in the settlement. Then the player get a member of the settlement and and can break and set blocks.
When a NPC is the owner of a settlement, the player can get enough reputation to take over the ownership of a setlement. You can prevent this when you set yourself or a other admin as the owner.
Remember all new founded settlements are in the kingdom 0. This means in no Kingdom.
